Read the introduction to "Catch: The Art of Fishing for Souls."

How do you want to be remembered? Have you ever pondered that question? I know I have. Some people have contributed so much to our world they actually must choose the one way they want to be remembered. People like President Lincoln or President Washington had many great accomplishments that make it impossible to define them by just one facet of their lives. Well I am not one of those guys.
I suppose that there are countless ways that people would like to be remembered when they are gone. I think our lives ultimately reflect those desires, even if by our own estimation we have miserably failed to attain them. This book will motivate you to become a "fisher of men" and “a friend of publicans and sinners.”
You may or may not be a follower of Jesus. Regardless of where you are on your faith journey, I believe you will gain a better understanding of who God is, and how He wants to relate to you, by reading this book.
As I wrote this book, I really didn’t want to categorize anyone with any label that is offensive. The label “publicans and sinners” doesn’t sound too complimentary does it? Spell check doesn’t like “unchurched” or “nonChristian.” So what’s a guy to do? I tried to use the word “outsider,” but who wants to be on the outside? So pardon my struggle as you read through the pages. Whatever label works for you, please apply it to yourself and note that I am aware that we are all broken people that God is putting back together again. Sometimes someone will even remind me that I’m missing a few parts!
